A Firenze nel mese di maggio 2017 avrà luogo la prima conferenza internazionale dedicata al necessario dialogo tra rilevatori e conservatori, tra geomatica e restauro. GeoRes2017 con il tema Conservation of Cultural Heritage in the Digital Era sta raccogliendo esperti da tutto il mondo che si runiranno in una tre giorni di intenso scambio.
La documentazione dei complessi monumentali, l'uso delle immagini nel campo del visibile e del non visibile, dati tematici che documentano patologie, materiali, degrado, rischio, repliche digitali e formazione connessa tra gli argomenti chiave del convegno. La data per sottoporre gli extended abstract è stata posticipata al 10 febbraio. Riportiamo integralmente la seconda Call for Paper.

Second Call for Paper
AUTEC – Academic Association of Topography and Cartography, SIRA – Academic Association of Architectural Restoration, and IGMI – Italian Geographic Military Institute are organizing the 1st International Conference on Geomatics and Restoration: Conservation of Cultural Heritage in the Digital Era (GEORES2017). The conference is supported by ISPRS (WG V/1, WG V/2 WG II/8) and CIPA Heritage Documentation and is under the patronage of ICOMOS – Italy and SIFET. The Conference will take place in Florence, Italy (22 – 24 May 2017) with the aim to bring together the community of researchers from Geomatics and Restoration.
PAPER SUBMISSION -The deadline for uploading extended abstracts (800 – 1200 words) has been postponed until 10th of February. Accepted papers will be published in the ISPRS International Archives of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences and indexed in Scopus. Abstract can be submitted from here (you need to create an account if you do not have one before).
A special issue of Applied Geomatics (Scopus Citescore 1.08, SJR 2015: 0.323) and of ‘ ANANKE (A-class journal) will publish a reviewed version of the best papers.
ACCOMODATION - IGM offers the chance to book some double and single rooms in his guestrooms in Florence, via della Scala, 68. Special prices are reserved for Conference participants. Rooms are limited! Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
